Fun Outside

I have been spending a ton of time outside, taking full advantage of this beautiful weather we have been having in Seattle!  Mommy and I walk every morning, and then usually play outside until lunch time, taking another walk after my nap or in the evening with Daddy.  Here are some recent pictures.
Mommy wanted me to wear sandals, but I insisted on rain boots...

...and my winter coat!

A fun afternoon at the city park with Mommy and Daddy
This slide was actually a little too fast for my liking.  My smile disappeared as I gained momentum!

I love to smell the flowers in our front yard
Hey, you're taking pictures!  I wanna see!!
Here Daddy, YOU smell!

July 4th weekend

I had a wonderful long weekend, despite catching my Daddy's yucky cold!  Daddy built me a SANDBOX this weekend, which I absolutely love!  On the 4th of July, I went to church with Mommy and Daddy.  I loved the music, especially when Mommy got up to sing the National Anthem!  After church, we had friends and family over to our house for a barbeque and to watch the city parade.  I was kind of scared of the sirens and clowns, and anything else that made a really loud noise during the parade. I took a nap from 3:30-6:30pm, and then stayed up late to watch the fireworks with Mommy and Daddy.  We are so lucky, I was able to sit on the couch in our den with Mommy and watch the Edmonds Fireworks show out our back window!  I liked this much better than being outside, because it wasn't quite as noisy.  Today was a quiet day after how crazy yesterday was... I went on two walks with Mommy and Daddy, played in the yard and my new sandbox, and watched a little Finding Nemo.  Happy Fourth!!

Yo, whaddup?

Happy Fourth!

First there was a hole...

Then a lot of noise, and one proud Daddy...

Oh, the anticipation!!

So exciting!  My very own sandbox!
