My First Swim Lesson

I started swim lessons today! It was Daddy's last day of vacation, so he got to come watch my first class and took some pictures.  I had a wonderful time!  I got a little too excited when it came time to jump off the foam mat and ended up going underwater five minutes before the end of class.  That kind of scared me, and then I started shivering because I was cold.  Mommy hopes I won't be too scared to try the mat again next class.  I get to go to class with Mommy twice a week for the next several weeks!  Mommy was very proud of me, because I was one of the only ones in the class who wasn't scared of the water.

Boeing Museum of Flight and one last birthday present

On Wednesday, Mommy and Daddy took me to the Boeing Museum of Flight.  I loved all of the airplanes!  I kept saying "WOW!" and pointing to different ones.  I got to climb inside a helicopter and several planes, walk through Air Force One, a Concorde jet, and a space ship.  It was so much fun!  We got an annual membership, so we can go again any time we want.  On Thursday, a birthday present arrived in the mail from my best friend Elisha.  I was super excited when I saw the Toy Story mailing envelope on the front porch!  I absolutely love the two dvd's on music and poetry that he gave me, and have been requesting that we watch them at breakfast every morning.  It sure has been a fun week, having both my Mommy and Daddy at home!

I had a wonderful birthday party tonight! Thank you to all of you who came!  I love all of my new toys, and I had SO much fun.

My Second Birthday

I turned two today! I had a wonderful day with Mommy and Daddy.  I started the day by opening my first present in bed, then taking a bath with my new Thomas the Train tugboat.  After a pancake breakfast, Mommy and Daddy took me to the Everett Children's Museum.  I had fun running around, playing in all the exhibits!  I took a nice long nap, and then we went to the beach before having a yummy dinner and finishing off the night with cupcakes and presents!  Tomorrow is my cake and ice cream party with my extended family... I can't wait!
