I told my Mommy over and over today how much I loved her. We shared many kisses and snuggles. Tonight, Daddy and I gave Mommy a bath all to herself with champagne, chocolates, bath salts, and a stack of magazines as our Mother's Day gift. Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Earth Day 2011
In honor of Earth Day, Mommy and I had a wonderful time out in the SUNSHINE today! We're still crossing our fingers that the sun will stick around for Easter. I just love playing in my back yard. Mommy had to carry me in kicking and screaming for my nap today, because I wanted to keep on playing all afternoon long!
Pretending to sleep in my boat
So happy to have sunshine!
Mugging for the camera
Playing with the watering can
Two years, Seven and a half months old!
Cheese!
I just love relaxing on the grass
Sawdust chips
Hanging out in the dirt
HUGE jet plane that flew super low over our house!
I was a little concerned...
Not quite sure what to think of the noise from the jet
Hugging a tree for Earth Day
Zoned out
I love my Mommy
Pretending to be a fireman
Off to the fire!

Dancing
I've been sick, and couped up inside. I had a little extra energy this morning, and Mommy caught it on video! I hope you're as delighted with my home movie as I am... I've already watched it multiple times!

Country Village
Mommy and I went to Country Village today. I had a great time! There were TONS of ducks quacking and swimming in the pond. I also loved playing with Thomas the Train and the kitchen at the toystore. There was a pirate ship at the playground with a super fun ladder. We ate lunch at The Village Bean, where they have a whole play area for kids. After lunch, we took a ride on the train, which was super exciting! We also got to see the Rooster... I named him Cock-a-doo. I had a really fun time, and can't wait to go back again, hopefully on a day when the playground is not quite so wet and swampy!
Having fun with the ducks
Cooking some dinner at the toy store
My first time on a tire swing
At the train station
Away we go!
Steering the pirate ship
Rooster with the crazy hair!

2.5 Years
I had my 2.5 year well child check-up today with Dr. Bennett. I weighed in at 26.6 pounds, and measured 35 inches tall. I had to have my hepatitis shot today, which did not make me happy. I said "ow, ow, ouch" all the way to the car. A good long nap took care of things though! I have been cracking my Mommy and Daddy up with all of my imaginary play lately. I just love to turn ordinary things into extraordinary things! Yesterday, I took the beaters from Mommy's mixer and turned them into screwdrivers, sticking them in the little holes inside the kitchen cabinet. Today at the doctor, I pretended that my toy turtle bit my toy zebra, and I put him on the exam table for Dr. Bennett to check when she came in. I'm always "workin' so hard" around the house, climbing chairs pretending they are ladders, scrubbing cabinets with toothbrushes, and generally making a giant mess in the process!
Pretending to be an alien with the angelfood cake pan, which ended up being a bit of a disaster since I got it stuck on my head and had to have Mommy pull it off.
The guard from the inside of my construction hat was turned into my scuba diving mask after watching Finding Nemo.
Taking apart my toy car, which requires my trick or treat pumpkin basket used as a construction hat.

I decided Daddy needed a hat too, but that he could have the real construction hat since the pumpkin was more comfortable on my head.
