Happy New Year!

We spent New Year's Day at the beach! It was in the low 30's but beautiful and sunny. We took my new red wagon with us, and I loved riding in it. While we were at the beach, we noticed a large group of people gathering near the ferry dock. We got to witness the craziest Edmonds residents doing the Edmonds Polar Plunge at the underwater dive park in nothing but their swim suits! They all got matching terry robes afterwards, and had a hot chocolate stand set up in a corner too. It was quite the sight!  I love living in Edmonds.

Christmas 2010 pictures

Mommy didn't get very many pictures of me this year, because I was such a bundle of energy, that I'm MOVING in almost every picture she took! Here are a few of the ones that didn't turn out blurry!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

I was SO excited that it was finally Christmas and Santa had come! Merry Christmas everyone!

Almost Christmas time!

We just got our Santa pictures back! I was very excited to see Santa, but when I realized that the goal was to have me SIT on Santa's lap, I started shaking my head and saying, "No, no, NOPE!" So, Mommy and Daddy ended up taking the picture with me! Here is the finished product (excuse the picture of a picture), along with a few other pictures that Mommy took of me this week.

November 2010

Mommy and Daddy are amazed at how many words I am starting to pick up now! I am attempting to put 2 and 3 word sentences together now, and have also learned how to count to three.  Here are some of my "words" with their translations that Mommy finds especially funny:

Snow Day!

We got our first snowfall of the season! I was so excited when Mommy opened up the window this morning and we saw the flakes coming down! I got to wear all of my snow gear, and Mommy pulled me in my red sled around the yard and down the sidewalk. We walked to Starbucks and had chocolate covered graham crackers, and then came home to warm up inside.  It is COLD out there! Today's high is supposed to be 31 degrees. They are forecasting up to six inches of snow for our area in the next 24 hours, so I'm looking forward to getting to go out in this winter wonderland again soon!
