Celebrations

I recently got to go to my first birthday party celebration for one of my friends. Blake turned three, and he had a Thomas the Train themed birthday party. I had a wonderful time! Today was Father's Day. I gave Daddy some new shorts, and my very first watercolor painting in a silver frame. To celebrate Daddy's special day, we also went to the Edmonds Arts Festival, and then had cheeseburgers at Five Guys and frozen yogurt at Menchies. Delicious! Here are a few pictures:

Sunny Days!

I have been loving the sunny weather we've had the past few days! I was very excited when Mommy told me I could finally wear my shorts during the day, and not just as jammies at night! Today was especially fun. Our friends Kelli and Andy came over with baby Tyler, and we went to the Edmonds Waterfront Festival. I got to be a "kid taste tester" at the PCC booth, sampling foods, and stamping on either the happy or the sad face, depending on if I liked what I tasted. I basically only liked the juice and the chocolate chip cookie out of the line up! I also got to go in the bouncy house. SO FUN! Mommy had to come in and get me because I refused to come out when my time was over... I didn't think she'd be able to fit through the little person entrance, but lo and behold, she did, and I was not too happy about it! After my nap, we went to Mommy and Daddy's Young Marrieds group. I love going, because all of my friends from church are there! I got to play on the slip n' slide, which was super fun! I also got to eat chocolate cake and ice cream since we were celebrating the upcoming arrival of baby Caleb. I had a hard time falling asleep tonight, because I just wanted to talk and talk about all the fun things that we did today. Mommy tells me I am a very blessed little boy!

Memorial Day 2011

I enjoyed having my Mommy and Daddy home for a long weekend! We went to the zoo on Saturday, and had a bbq at Grandma Chris and Grandpa Jack's house on Sunday after church. Today, we visited my Grandpa Earl's grave, and attended the Memorial Day ceremony at the cemetery. Later in the day, I got to go on a wagon ride and get hot cocoa at Starbucks with Mommy and Daddy. A lot of fun packed into three short days!

SUNSHINE!

Yay! We finally got some sunshine! I was so excited that I woke up at 5:15am and told Mommy it was nice outside and that we needed to go play. We walked to Starbucks (a little later in the morning) wearing our sunglasses, and after my music class, we stopped at the drug store and bought a brand new swimming pool for our back yard. It was only in the 60's this afternoon, but I just HAD to take a dip in the pool. When I was all done, all I could say was, "I'm really cold, I'm freezing", over and over again. Mommy left the water in the pool so that it will hopefully be warmer the next time I decide to go in!
Headed to Starbucks!

New swim trunks, and new pool. I'm ready for summer!

Mother's Day 2011

I told my Mommy over and over today how much I loved her. We shared many kisses and snuggles. Tonight, Daddy and I gave Mommy a bath all to herself with champagne, chocolates, bath salts, and a stack of magazines as our Mother's Day gift. Happy Mother's Day!
