My Daddy is on vacation! We had a wonderful first day with him home. We went to Country Village, and I took him to The Village Bean for breakfast, then we played at the toy store, fed the ducks, took a train ride, and played on the playground. It was the perfect morning! I just love having my Daddy home.

Beach Day!
Mommy and I had such a fun morning at the beach! We took my wagon, and loaded it with toys and snacks. The beach is one of my favorite places! I found some really cool sticks today, and Mommy and I went in the water too. It was SO cold, but I loved the big waves that would come whenever the ferry boat docked at the pier. And in case you're wondering... yes, I have grown. The doctor said I weighed 28.5 pounds and was 37 inches tall when we visited this week!

Happy Fourth of July!
I had a wonderful day! The Edmonds Parade went right by our house, and we had people over all afternoon enjoying the sunshine with us! Then I took a nice long nap, and stayed up late to watch the fireworks with Mommy and Daddy from our back yard. Happy Fourth!

Summer Days and Almost Three!
Mommy can't believe that in two short months, I'll be turning three! At last check, I was 36.5 inches tall and 28 pounds. My favorite movie is Curious George. My favorite books are any that talk about fire trucks, and the Maisy books. Maisy's favorite toy is her stuffed panda... I have decided that my two stuffed pandas are now some of my favorite stuffed animals! They often end up in bed with me at night, and are regularly a part of my make believe stories! It is finally summer here in Seattle. I have been enjoying helping Mommy and Daddy tend the vegetable garden, and I even helped weed the lavender and rose beds today. I have several friends that live in the neighborhood, and have loved going to the beach, playing in the pool, and running through the sprinkler with them. I can't wait for our strawberries and raspberries to be ripe... I check them every afternoon!

Celebrations
I recently got to go to my first birthday party celebration for one of my friends. Blake turned three, and he had a Thomas the Train themed birthday party. I had a wonderful time! Today was Father's Day. I gave Daddy some new shorts, and my very first watercolor painting in a silver frame. To celebrate Daddy's special day, we also went to the Edmonds Arts Festival, and then had cheeseburgers at Five Guys and frozen yogurt at Menchies. Delicious! Here are a few pictures:
