Happy Spring!

Life is busy in the Richard house! Mommy just finished extra singing commitments for Holy Week and Easter, Jamison is now using rolling as a form of transportation and eating solid foods 1-2 times a day, and Josiah is becoming a master lego builder and enjoying his time at preschool! We are all looking forward to seeing a little more sunshine soon... it has been a long, wet winter.

We have had a busy winter! Mommy has returned to her three jobs after being on maternity leave. She is teaching private voice lessons two evenings a week, K-6 Music one morning a week, and Music Together at Alley Bell Music one morning a week. We are very lucky that Grandma Libby is able to help with the babysitting during some of those times! Josiah had surgery the beginning of February at Children's Hospital in Bellevue. He was so brave! We are all relieved that little "event" is behind us! Jamison had his first plane ride to his Great Grandma Margie's funeral in CA the end of January. Mommy sang for the memorial service while Josiah and Daddy had a "bachelor weekend" at home in Seattle. Jamison also had his first playdate with some of his nicu buddies, Eric and Kyle. Josiah is enjoying going to preschool twice a week, and is becoming the lego builder and imaginary costume designer extraordinaire! Life is never boring in our house!

Where is the time going?

Our sweet baby Jamison is already almost four months old! Where is the time going? Mommy already has had to box up the newborn and 0-3 month clothes! Jamison is a super sweet little thing, and he loves to smile and coo at his Mommy, Daddy, and big brother! Josiah and Jamison are going to be thick as thieves... we see the writing on the wall!

Jamison, 2 weeks old!

Jamison was discharged from the hospital on Saturday, October 13th. We are SO thankful to be home as a family of four! It has been a challenging transition for all of us, but we are settling in. Since Jamison is a preemie, we have been told not to have him in public places for the first 8 weeks until after his first round of immunizations since he is at high risk for RSV. He has his days and nights turned around, so Mommy has been kept up until 4am almost every night, and is trying to sleep when Jamison sleeps. We went on our first family walk today with Jamison in the stroller, and I am loving being a big brother, helping Mommy and Daddy with diaper changes, and holding Jamison. We are very happy he is home!
